2008 TT
The TT Centenary last year proved to be a huge success. 2008 promises to be just as good with all the usual treats. The Association will be working with the owners of Andreas airfield to make this year even better for visiting aviators. Flex-wings, microlights, singles or twins are welcome. Autogyros and helicopters should also join in. Camping and parking space is plentiful and a Bar-B-Q is planned for the evening of the 31st May - just to get in the mood for 'Mad Sunday'. Practice week starts on the 24th May and racing starts on the 31st May and ends on the 6th June. Let us know if we can help make your visit a success. We can help or advise on Car Hire, accomodation etc. Use the 'Contact Us', giving us your details and we will help where possible.
Don't forget to fax your GA report forms and PPR - see Andreas page for info.
This year the AMP will be holding events to promote flying on the Isle of Man. We will be hosting a Fly-In at Andreas airfield and also plan to have a Fly-Out for our members. Details will be posted on this page. Please use the 'Contact Us' page to let us know if you will be attending or to ask any questions.
There will be a Fly-Out to the LAA Rally in Sherburn which is on the 9th and 10th August. Watch this space for further details.
